Consistently and strongly reminded key mobile satellite service (MSS) providers of the importance of continuing to provide L-band service to maintain service to its existing customers;
Consistently and strongly reminded the US regulatory authorities of the importance of the US continuing its participation in international MSS entities;
Started the only web site focused exclusively on mobile satellite issues;
Continued to provide timely news and analysis through its newsletter;
Enabled MSUA members the opportunity to meet with senior government and industry leaders in private meetings.

In the Twenty-First Century, MSUA:

Sponsored six MSUA conferences, all highly acclaimed meetings and exhibitions focused solely on mobile satellite communications;
Expanded its website;
Continued to publish both the newsletter and headlines, a compilation of mobile satellite press releases;
Consistently and strongly advocated on behalf of mobile satellite users on key issues faced by US and European regulatory bodies.

In 2010, MSUA Is:

Sponsoring MSUA-7, still an exclusively mobile satellite-oriented conference and held in conjunction with SATELLITE 2010 offering increased visibility, access and information;
Revamping its website to provide enhanced member visibility on the web and become THE source for news on mobile satellite services;
A voice for the industry, forcefully advocating increased competition and removal of market barriers in the mobile satellite industry in the US and abroad.
